How will ABA help my child?
How will ABA help my child?
ABA focuses on addressing the developmental deficiencies identified in the initial assessment of your child. The goal is to diminish undesirable behaviors while reinforcing and rewarding the acquisition of targeted behaviors, including but not limited to social skills, self-care skills, potty training, play skills, and other essential living skills.
ABA therapy stands as the only scientifically supported treatment for autism and finds extensive application in various fields due to its proven efficacy. Its effectiveness is notably attributed to the intensive one-on-one setting it offers, proving particularly efficient in younger children. It's essential to acknowledge that every child is unique, and therefore, progress may vary from one child to another.
The effectiveness of the therapy increases the younger the client is. We cater to recipients ranging from 24 months to 21 years old.
Our services cover various locations within the community, and the choice of service location depends on the specific needs of the child and their family. Our reach extends to children across the community, including schools (if the school allows therapists), in-home therapy, community outings, and more.

Active participation from parents is strongly recommended during sessions. Parent training is a cornerstone of ABA therapy, emphasizing the crucial role of reinforcing target behaviors and goals at home, both before and after therapy sessions. A collaborative effort involving parents, the lead analyst, and the therapist enhances the effectiveness of ABA.
Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) deliver the therapies under the continuous supervision of a lead Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

If you are seeking to receive treatment via private pay/self-pay (without insurance), then no. If you are using your insurance, then yes, your insurance will most likely require a diagnosis to cover ABA services.
